Kevin Hart “Tell All” Not Covered – TW secured a bench trial win on the papers when the Central District of California ruled that the assistant’s YouTube “tell all” of Kevin Hart was not covered because it was not accidental. “There is no question that [the assistant] intended to participate in the interview,” the Court ruled.

Aravind Ramachandrian, where the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia ruled that a $11.5 million settlement entered without the consent of the carrier forfeited coverage under the policy. The Court also enforced the carrier’s Self-Insured Retention, finding the carrier owed no duties until the SIR was exhausted.

Thwarting a "Bad Faith Setup" – Tittmann Weix challenged a claimant’s attempt to inflate a $50,000 policy-limits demand into a $10 million claim, underscoring the firm’s continued success in navigating complex coverage disputes and countering the plaintiff bar’s “open policy” tactics. Likewise, establishing ripeness on coverage prior to underlying indemnity shows creative strategies to achieve early resolution.
